The location is also a bit of a hindrance, especially if a restaurant doesn't quickly establish a reputation that will draw people to it.
While those who know Wolfeboro well and are often here would seek it out, I suspect that the restaurants in town derive a significant portion of their revenues from tourists walking around town and arriving on buses. These people won't wander up the hill to the Lakeview unless good marketing or reputation incite them to do so.
