I should think that the impact of rising energy prices, peak oil, and energy descent SHOULD be of interest to those living around the lake as it will have increasing impacts on our lifestyles
Getting here, maintaining here, relaxing - all will be affected
I would think the increased gas prices making (motor) boating, snowmobiling, ATV-ing, jetski-ing, etc. increasingly rare would be of interest
