Tons of places to stop at. Most have already been suggested. One that I have not seen is the Backroom/Puritan Restaurant in Manchester, just off of Exit 9S (I-93).

And I agree with the others regarding Rt 3/Everett Tpk. It is definately faster than I-93 when coming from the 495 area. We have family friends in Northboro, so we are down that way often. The 4 lanes on Rt 3 into Nashua makes it a much easier ride.
