Sorry M/V but unless the law changed yesterday, this is 100% not true.
You only have to follow the
no rafting zone rules while you are in a
no rafting zone. A lot of people want the rules applied lake wide or even state wide, but they are not.
There are legal rafts of 10+ boats on a regular basis in non-restricted areas.
