As you read this, Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas is bearing upon us! We have been very busy getting trail work completed in preparation for a great, snow filled riding season here in the Lakes Region!

Leo Lemoine Trail Dedication: Our good friend and trail master, Leo Lemoine, passed away on Sat, Sept 18th. The Moultonboro Snowmobile Club has named a trail in Leo's honor. We will be posting the sign noting the beginning of the trail (across Route 25 from the Village Kitchen). Please see our website moultonborosmc.org for further details.
Facebook: We have a new Facebook page and hope to see some of you there! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Moulto...12174642179956

Monthly Dinners: We will begin holding our monthly dinners on the first Saturday of each month, starting in Nov, concluding in May. The first 2 meetings will be held at the North End Restaurant on Rt. 25 in Moultonborough:
• December 4: Prime Rib Dinner or Seafood Newburgh. Cost is $21 per person, cash bar
• Jan 8: Chicken Parmesan or Wild Mushroom Ravioli w/ a Mushroom Sherry cream. Cost is 17.00 per person, cash bar.
We hope to see many of you there; it is a great way to meet some of your fellow club members! Please let us know by the Thursday prior to the dinner if you will be attending so the restaurant can prepare for us. Make checks payable to the Moultonboro Snowmobile Club.
Snowmobile Safety Course: We will be holding our 2010 Snowmobile Class on Saturday December 18th at the Geneva Point Center, Geneva Point Road, Moultonboro. The Class will start at 8:00am and run through to 3:30pm. The Club will be providing Lunch.

Please bring your riding gear as part of the Class requires riding on an outdoor course to test your knowledge of snowmobile rules and riding skills. We encourage Parents to attend the class.

Please contact Steve Janaitis at 603-253-6707 as soon as possible to reserve a place in the Class.

Membership: Members should have received their membership applications either electronically or via the US Mail. Please send them back as soon as possible. If you have not received them please see our website.

Trail Masters Meeting: Many of your club officers and volunteer groomers attended the NHSA Trail Masters meetings on 11-20-2010. This meeting allows us to keep current on trail maintenance and signage trends. There were also numerous classes related to grooming and trail work safety that we participated in. Thank you to all of those that gave up a beautiful Saturday to benefit the Club.

• Paul Driscoll, Trail Master
• Brian Hall, Trail Administrator
• Steve Janaitis, County Advisor
• Pat Venuti, Director
• John Harrington, Director
• Bob Gunderson, Volunteer

Trail Work: We have had a busy fall out on the trails. Some of you may have seen our Polaris Ranger 6X6 out on the trails or being trailered to work sites. It is clearly marked “Moultonborough Snowmobile Club Trail Maintenance”. The Ranger has allowed us to cover much more ground than we previously could.
We have made it through most of the trails cutting back overgrowth and clearing trees blown down since last season. We have also rebuilt two bridges, one near Camp Tecumseh, the other on the town trail behind the schools headed toward Berry Pond.

We are currently working on:
• A new 1400’ Corridor 15 reroute trail that will cross Moultonboro Neck road near the playground/ Highway Garage Drive that will connect to Fuller’s. This will replace the section of trail at the end of Blackadar Lane.
• We are also working hard toward reopening a former section of Corridor 15 along Rt. 25 from Fuller’s to Glidden Road, then back onto existing trails reconnecting Corridor 15 to Meredith.

Please watch carefully for these changes as the season gets underway! Our sincere thank you to the Town of Moultonborough for their approval and assistance, particularly:
• Carter Terenzini: Town Administrator
• The Board of Selectmen
• Scott Kinmond, Director of Public Works

Your help is always welcome! The MSC garage is located on Highway Garage Drive which is approximately 3/4 of a mile down Moultonborough Neck Road on the left. We hope to see you there and we are happy to have any help we get, even if you can only make one weekend a year. Remember, it is hunting season so please wear some orange outer garments.
