Talking Winnipesaukee Islands

According to the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society,

Winnipesaukee contains 274 inhabitable islands of which only 132 are one-quarter acre.

It is interesting that there are:
2 - Birch Islands

3 - Cove Islands

2 - Half Mile Islands

3 - Little Pine Islands

4 - Loon Islands

2 - Penny Islands

2 - Rock Islands

3 - Rocky Ridge Islands

2 - Round Islands
Also, interesting that many are named for animals, fish, a reptile and an arachnid

Giving them good descriptions for those of us who might be using the search feature for threads like this.
