When wiring a bathroom you have to go by the 2002 National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, as adopted by the National Fire Protection Association, Inc., and approved by the American National Standards Institute.

In there you will find that you need a dedicated 2 wire 20A GFCI Branch Circuit for the bathroom receptacles. There are exceptions to the lighting in the bathroom and to a second bathroom. This is all explained in the code.
