Cabinfever,can you be more specific which beaches or parts of the island you are refering to?I spend a least 6-7 weekend days a season rafting around Timber and wouldn't want to be a bother to you people.I would want the same courtesy for myself.I believe most boaters would feel the same if they knew.I think you are correct in saying most rafters think the Island is a preserve and that they have the right to be there.I didn't know when it sold that the remaining land was privately owned.I do now!Good luck.
