Never been up there. Just sounded nice when I heard about it. Another thought: Mountainview Grand Hotel in Whitefield has dining in the wine cellar. Other places may offer this as well. I almost think I remember something about that at the Wolfeboro Inn as well.
Good luck with your search. We could take our kids anywhere back in their early youth, and a good thing because my folks liked to take us out to dinner, including some fine dining.
