I emailed the new innkeeper to inquire about room rates. The new price for winter is $139 per night. A bit of a difference, but there are a lot of upgrades from the description.

Dare we ask where you stayed last year? Might be good if others avoid it. I had the same type experience with a place in Alton. Got so bad I now stay in Gilford instead. There are few choices for places that stay open all winter if only 1 or 2 are in the party. I've already seen the Gunstock Inn and the Fireside (former B Mae's) are pretty well sold-out for Feb. vacation week.
