We have owned 3 premiers, they are my favorite brand. I have owned many pontoons and couldn't be happier with premier. I haven't had anything really go wrong with any of them so I cannot comment on parts availability. As far as salt water packages, all they add is bottom paint to the tubes and an extra anode for protection. You could make any boat work in salt water provided you have the heavy hull version, in the premiers that equates to a ptx30 or preferably ptx36.

The things that usually go wrong with pontoons are mechanical, which ties back to the brand of motor and rigging. Pontoons are flat decks with tubes, fence and seats.
