Can I guess that trolling has to be done slowly? One boat that kept going by our place was going much faster than the usual fishing boat. Will fish bite fast bait?
I got a couple nibbles off our dock and when it let go for good I lost my lure.
The water needs to really warm up before I will retrieve it.
