Another avenue is to find out the cost of a replacement circuit board panel.
Many if not all appliances now use a touchscreen ciruit board paeel for all operations. Many times that is the first thing to go.
Kitchenaid is just another name for Whirlpool.
LG is a Korea company that has factories all over the world.
