Arrow Ellacoya welcomes sup paddlers

Something new this year, 2023, at beautiful Ellacoya State Park on the big lake in Gilford, NH ...... http://www.nhstateparks.org/find-par...ya-state-park/ ..... Ellacoya Beach now has a spot on their beach for stand-up paddle board paddlers to go paddle their boards on Lake Winnipesaukee.

I heard it through the paddle board grapevine that Ellacoya State Park, this summer, will have a sandy beach spot just to the LEFT of their 600' sandy beach swimming area and rope line, OUTSIDE of the floating rope line where sup paddlers can launch, hit the water and go paddle the big lake that has a smooth natural sandy lake floor below the water.

Go paddle to the right, go paddle to the left, outside the swim rope line or go paddle one mile, out and back, around Welch Island when the waters are smooth and calm enough for a sup paddle all the way, way the heck out there.

For age 65-plus with a NH drivers license, admission to park your car and use the beach area is free. Adults under age-65 is five dollars which is a super NH steal-of-a deal for what Ellacoya has including a snack bar and quality rest rooms.
