I just asked the question why is it essential for liquor stores to remain open. My sister who is a nurse at a mass hospital fighting this virus answered "Alcoholics will go into life threatening seizures if they stop using cold turkey. They will then take up valuable emergency room beds and eventually ventilators hat will be needed elsewhere. Nurses have been talking about keeping these open since this all started"
