I don't live far from there and my house was built around the same time. When I restored my barn I had an old man with a full beard that would sit in a chair in the entry way to the barn and watch me. When I finished he smiled and I haven't seen him since. We have a woman dressed in the early 1800~s clothing that we see quite often though and she just putters around.
