There is a bass nest just to the left of our dock. Over the weekend, I watched as this poor (dumb? ;-) ) bass was caught no less than 3 times, perhaps more as we were not around all weekend.
In every case, with calm, clear water, those catching him came in, saw the fish on the nest, then cast toward it.
How can this be fun or challenging? As the saying goes, seems like shooting fish in a barrel. I wish I understood why this isn't against the rules.

I see the same thing over and over. The "fishermen" go from nest to nest, not even casting, but swinging their bait onto the nest. Real sports...not.
