Christmas Gifts to your carrier
I saw this post and couldn't believe this was still going on.
You can tip a waitress etc that the way that works . But for a longtime accepting " gifts " etc in a public sector position has been grounds for dismissal.
In a good number of private businesses gift giving , especially a cash gift , is flat out not acceptable.
These people get paid good money to work this slow and as has been been pointed out they look forward to a more then generous retirement .( which should be eliminated and a 401k put in like the rest of us ) accepting what amounts to a bribe for good service is out of line
