I don't know about some of the previous posts, but I've been coming to the Lakes Region since I was two months old (almost 38 years now), and I think people are extremely warm and friendly.

I will gladly reach out/wave/hug you and your partner anytime!!!

I'm in Meredith and have two pups myself, as well as being an avid outdoors person.

I don't care if you're black, white, purple, straight, gay, bi, short, fat, lazy, blind, or deaf...as long as your a decent person, I'll gladly say hello and welcome you!!!

Life is way too short to be hindered about what's on the outside of a person. It's what's on the inside that matters.
