I asked about the roast beef hash on my last visit. Apparently it came from a can and they added onions. I was told it is no longer available. They do have corned beef hash which is good.

Long time customer

I've been going to the Mug at least once a year since 1972. Great place for food and or a few beers. Consistently good and won't break the bank.

I thought it strange

Why on earth would they name a dish after an enemy of the USA? I'm glad they changed it. What next? A Sadam sandwich? Or a maybe a Castro quiche? I couldn't help thinking Jane Fonda was part owner.

Then there was Reunite on ice. That's nice.

I can't believe I drank both Boone's Farm and Reunite back in the 70's. What was I thinking?

You would want to combine this with other activities since this place, although interesting, is not a place you'd want to spend more than an hour at. I suggest lunch at the Yankee Smokehouse in West...

Prices

Burgers and sandwiches are in the 3.00 to 5.00 dollar range. The 4 of us ate there for just under 30.00 dollars. Obviously the seafood would cost you more.
