Lucy,

I've posted a couple of times about using Tradesmen -- they built our house a couple of years ago and I highly recommend them. Larry and Rich are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Also,...

FLood Insurance Waiver

I had the same situation and couldn't fight it in time for the closing. But, I believe the bank is required to remove the flood insurance requirment if you later prove that you are not in a flood...

Total Security

We used them and they did a great job. Their monitoring service is competitively priced and discounted if you pay for the whole year rather than month-to-month.

I'm sure that others have this...

Wine'ing Butcher and The Meat House

OK, so is there any relation. The Meat House opened a store in our town in Mass and it looks extremely like the Wine'ing Butcher in Meredith. Both have the meat case with the same marinated tips;...

We also installed a propane-fired tankless heater and I love it. Water is very hot and we've never run out -- even with multiple simultaneous showers.

The builder recommended we go tankless and...

So...is it good?

First time to Texas, I was taken out for some BBQ. Had no idea that it was the name of the food -- all this yankee knew was that it was the way the food was prepared. Many years...

James Gray

We used James Gray in 2008. Solid work. 500 foot well was about 6k, I think. Once the house was complete, though, we needed a water softener because lakes region drilled wells are notorious for...
