What kind of bird is this one?

Found this bird in our break room yesterday. Had to open the door and heard it out to freedom. Sorry it is from my cell phone.
Hadn't seen one with little yellow tail tips before. Had some cool eye make up on too.:D

Great prices in the machine, but one can't say the same for the contents. LOL
Thanks for the photo as I haven't seen one this year here at the lake. They sure are pretty and they have a nice song.:)

Lo and behold I went back down there today and there was the same bird, (or one that looked just like it) at the window again. Must really want something in that machine or it is seeing it's reflection in the glass or mirror at the back of the machine?
Is the cedar wax wing a popular bird around here? I had never seen on like it before. Airdale1 has got me looking at birds now...I'm gonna lose my man card.......:rolleye2::laugh::D

If you have one Cedar Waxwing, you have a whole bunch of 'em. Most likely there's a nice shrub or tree nearby, just loaded with juicy berries of some sort. These incredibly beautiful birds travel in fairly large flocks, and are extremely social. One of their most famous behaviors, and one that's delightful to watch, they line up on a branch, and pass berries down the line until finally one of them eats the berry. Sadly, they can quickly strip a tree of all it's fruit, and then they move along, so act quickly if you want to see that beauty again. ;)
