Chili Cookoff at Lobster Pound
 

There was a chili cookoff at Lobster Pound at the Weirs today. The event was very crowded and had about 16 places providing tastes of chili. There were many different varieties of chili; Vegetarian, turkey, ground beef, with and without kidney beans, some with steak as well as ground beef, pork...... All in all the event benefited the NH humane society and was, at least to me, a great success. I have found new restaurants that I would like to go to with my wife.

I believe that the Lyons Den won for the second year in a row and I couldn't have agreed more with the peoples choice. Does anyone know who the second and third place finishers were?

I know that Gunstock Mountains Centerplate Culinary placed third. This was a fun event for a great cause and we enjoyed being part of it!
