Old aerial photographs

For those who may have an interest, you can download old USGS aerial photos here: http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/ You do need an account to download photos but there is no charge to have one so that should not be a problem. You can enter a search location using an address, coordinates or by zooming in and marking a location on the map provided. Once you select a location, move to the "Data sets" tab. Expand the "Aerial Photography" option and select "Aerial Photo Single Frames" this will access photos going back to the 1930's and 40's.

Old maps

Hello,
I am trying to zoom in on my property via these old maps. I am told that my property had a boat house at the shore and the foundation is still partially here. I would love to see what my home looked like with the boat house there. The address is 61 Old Hubbvard Rd Meredith. I could not get a clear view. Any suggestions? One day I will knock on some old timers doors in the neighborhood and ask for their help.

The oldest data in Goggle Earth for 61 Old Hubbard Rd Meredith is 1998.

These old aerial photos will not have that level of detail. This is a crop from the composite aerial of Winni from 1954. Even zoomed and cropped you can see that there is no way to get that level of detail.

Here is the cropped and zoomed
