It's finally Snowing in Moultonboro

I see snow up there, too little too late.

About one inch of good heavy quality, skiing snow has already fallen here in Waterville Valley, with it sticking to the grass, cars and asphalt roof shingles, but mostly melting on the asphalt paved roads. Could be that the WV ski area, where the base lodge is about 500' higher up in elevation than here in the valley, is probably getting some snow too. The ski area's final day of the season was on last Friday, one week ago.

In Tuftonboro, about 1000 feet elevation, about 2 inches on the ground and roads are covered.:(

That was the shortest summer I have ever seen.

Remember ...

what T.S. Eliot said: "April is the cruelest month!"...but the snow on those daffodils IS sort of pretty. Easy for me to say...but we are knee deep here in pollen...also not fun!

Yup! It's at the corner of North Line Road and Ledge Hill Road.
