The Alton Masons will be hosting a Bean-hole and Ham dinner, open to the public, at their Lodge located on Rte 28 a quarter mile south of the Alton Circle. Bean-hole beans are cooked the old fashioned way, in cast iron bean pots place in a firepit in the ground. Mmmm good. Smoked ham, Kidney and Navy beans, corn bread, cole slaw, dessert, lemonade and fruit punch, water, coffee and tea, all for the low donation of $10. Takeout containers are also available.
