On Sunday, October 26, beginning at 1 PM, you are invited to a special event - a spaghetti dinner fundraiser which will be held at Tardiff Park, Crescent Street, in Laconia. The $10.00 dinner will feature spaghetti, garlic bread, home-made cole slaw, water, coffee, and delicious home-made cookies for dessert. There will also be a table featuring home baked goodies for you to take home and enjoy later.
The dinner is being hosted by a group of friends to help raise funds for a local resident, Vinnay Keola, who has been on a waiting list for a kidney for over two years now. The proceeds will go to assist Vinnay and his wife. We are hoping a match will be made soon.
The dinner will allow us to come together as a community to show our support for a friend and co-worker while also helping to defray the costs associated with the transplant and aftercare.
Since this is so near to Halloween, feel free to come in costume! You might have your dinner served to you by a werewolf! Just no complaints about the hair in the food.
