Lowes is coming!!

I understand the building and homeowner supply company Lowes is coming to Gilford/Laconia area. The newspapers report route 3/11. Does anyone know exactly where?? I though it may have been the old Kmart although the ad makes no mention of the old Kmart plaza. I like this idea as I cuurently end up running 30 miles there and 30 miles back to Home Depot in Tilton when my local hardware store does not carry what I need.

I was told by a local building contractor that it will be going in just past the Wal-Mart in Tilton. I hope one is coming to Gilford, we certainly need something besides the over-priced Gilford Home Center.

Lowes is a better store than Home Cheapo, you'll like them... :eek:

One difference between the two stores, at least on the Left coast where I live: there is a patina of (sheet rock? plaster?) dust over most of the merchandise in Home Depot, but not at Lowe's.

Both stores have birds flying and roosting in the rafters.

Haven't spotted any pink flamingoes yet...

i have both home depot and lowes around me. a few months after opening you won't be able to tell the difference between them, as far as customer service goes anyways.
