Anyone used M & M Marine Salvage in Meredith for boat parts source?

I need to replace the bench seat on the stern of my bow-rider, as was told they have a huge supply of all types of used parts.

Would just re-upholster seat, but it's beyond that point......

Thanks,
Bigdog

Like any marine salvage business you have to know what your looking at and make sure you give iit a good inspection before taking it home.

Now Is the old bench seat in good enough shape that you could use the pieces for templates? If so I would use the old pieces for a template and make the seat yourself.
I have done this will seats and side pannels. If you have a jig saw, and a table saw it pretty easy.... even if you don't have a table saw, it isn't that bad.....

I know friends that have purchased items before and been very satisfied. With not much trouble using the old as was said above it isn't a bad job for a first timer. You can also look into aftermarket replacements. If going the used route make sure you have your demensions before going, saves a trip and or call ahead.

I have a 1979 115 HP Evinrude that the motor mounts were broken. I was advised by Parkers to go to another shop that might have them, but they did not and they sent me to M& M (the parts I needed were no longer available)
M&M had them but already in other motor parts. They found what I needed and stopped what they were doing and got me out a pair, while I watched which made the installation even easier. Why not just get a new outboard?
a year and half prior I had the power head rebuilt and that winter I had the lower unit rebuilt. Too much invested tojust give up.
I highly recommend M&M.

Partsman, do you have or know where I can get boat trailer parts? Someone stole the fender off my boat trailer in the glendale parking lot and the dealer is asking an astronomical price for a new one.

I have been googling on line and have not found one.

Check out the basement under Fay's sailboat sales store. Once found a replacement galv steel fender for a trailer w/ two axles down there, and bring a good flashlight.

I do have some trailer fenders. If you email a picture to me I will see if I can match it up. mmslvg@metrocast.net
