After three years my plow guy evidently decided to retire. The only problem is that he never told anyone. He also has not responded to any "Where are you?" messages.

Bottom line: he never showed for yesterday's storm and I am literally housebound.

I called one guy on Cherry Valley Road who advertises plowing on a sign in front of his house but he hasn't returned the call (probably out working). If anyone knows someone reputable and reliable to do some plowing in Gilford, please let me know.

Thanks!

Sky

Got someone! What a relief.

The new guy lives nearby and does some other homes in my neighborhood.

So long, Steve! Hello, Bruce!

Glad for ya. There nothing like getting stuck with no one to plow ones driveway. Happy Holidays:)

WOW, sky_nh, you're way too fast for us! :)

Steve must still be in Houston, as the storm hit there first earlier this week!... He's been listening to that whole warming thing, and just following the white stuff...
Don't get me wrong, after all especially in this economy, he still needs to make those plow payments!

PS... if you should hear from him, welcome him back with open arms for backup, just in case you should get any more snow this season in Gilford.

Great advice, trfour! I think I need backup for my backup.
