When going by Bmaes today I saw a large number of Ryder trucks in the front parking lot and a large For Sale sign out front. Has another Winnipesaukee business gone down for the count. I believe they changed the name to Fireside Inn a couple of years ago.

Those of us who had rented booths at B-Mae's received a letter recently asking us to get all of our stuff out of there or they would be disposing of it themselves. Maybe that's what the trucks were about?

A lot of the rooms at Bmea's/ Fireside Inn are timeshares. If you check out the real estate listings, there are always a few for sala. It maybe that they all are and the hotel just re-rents them as hotel rooms when not used by their owners. So I don't see how that can go out of business.

On the other hand, the building out front was a resturant and most recently had antiques. I guess that could fail, especially given Mcdude's post.

It always surprised me that another resturant was not opened there. Sawyer's and Patrick's always do well, they get a lot of traffic during the season.

Jrc...

The owners of the B Mae property are the same people who own Patrick's... doesnt make much sense to compete against yourself (across the street no less) in the restaurant business. I seem to recall he recently went before the planning board for some sort office use/professional building variance...

McDude... I think the trucks are the ones used by the Timberman organizers. The same trucks were spread all over Elacoya during the event. I saw them at BMae's Monday night. The crew spent all day Monday taking down all the bike racks and tents.

All that stuff heads to Texas for their next series of races.
