Septic system....problems during high water level?

we have an old septic here in Moultonboro...we are on the waterfront. any recommencations for a company to evaluate our old no leach field system...will mostly likely need a new system...what are the regulations....any help with links and companies to use....thanks in advance!!

If it were me....I'd first call Lamprey's septic srvice and have him pull it down so that it is not overflowing.Second.....I'd call R.A.Dunlap&Son.Bob Dunlap has done septic work for us and does great work at a fair price.Lamprey will come right away and you can trust him to give good advice.Bob may be busy but will look at it right away and let you know what to do...Good luck.Nothing worse than septic troubles!

Be prepared to navigate a myriad of local and State rules and regulations because you are a waterfront owner. Your existing system must be operating under a "grandfather clause", and now that it has essentially failed, in all probability you will have to come to present day standards. Be prepared. In reality, coming to present day standards isn't a bad thing, from the environmental view point, considering the need to preserve our environment.
