Agreed. A great cause and Winnipesaukee tradition. It's been 8 or 9 years, I think.
Can't you also go by car or bike??

2009 Lake & Land Poker Run (http://nh.easterseals.com/site/Calendar?view=Detail&id=25821)
Lake Winnipesaukee
Dedicated to Peter Makris
In Honor of Mike Whalley
10:00 AM
Hop in your boat, personal watercraft, motorcycle, truck or car and join Easter Seals NH for the region's ONLY Lake and Land Poker Run at Lake Winnipesaukee.
What is a Poker Run?
Participants traveling in a boat, motorcycle, truck or car stop at choice of checkpoints, depending on mode of transport, and pick up poker chips. The last stop for all participants is the NASWA Beach Resort, where participants turn in their chips for a poker hand. It's that easy and it's not a race!
Visit our website (http://nh.easterseals.com/site/Calendar?view=Detail&id=25821) or call 603-623-8863 or 800-870-8728 and ask for Development
Buy tickets online (https://secure2.convio.net/es/site/Ticketing?view=Tickets&id=25821&JServSessionIdr011=7hza62v5n2.app28a)

A number of the high performance boats builders will bring demos to the poker run. Last year Polaris and Sea-doo demo their rocket sleds. :D

We were working on our deck and heard the boats coming, so we sat there and watched them go by. It was an impressive sight to see from that angle.
I only had my phone and no camera, so this is the best shot I was able to get.
And the best part is none of the boats appeared to be speeding in the broads. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Glad to see Easter Seals had a successful event. Hope to be part of it next year.
Not to open a can of worms but why was that the "best part"?
Also based on that photo, I don't think you can measure 150' between them. I am suprised the legal cowboys haven't jumped up and down over that yet. I don't care if they were within 150' for it looks very safe to me, but usually that causes many posters to go wild.
