My mother-in-law and I are traveling to the lake this Saturday for the day, to have lunch at Hart's in Meredith and she would love to be able to grab some Caramel Corn. I know there used to be a place in Weir's Beach that had it. Any idea where the best place or if there is anywhere to get it?

If you go down the Pier in the Weirs there is a candy store on the left -right after Kevin's Cafe at the Pier. They make homemade caramel corn-I had some last weekend and it was fabulous!

If you are coming into Meredith for lunch take a tour of downtown Meredith in the Mill Falls, there is a craft fair this weekend and might be a great spot to hit if your looking for Caramel Popcorn also plenty of nice people walking around.

Good Luck

In Meredith - there's Lee's candy kitchen on the bottom floor of the Mill and I think there's another on Main Street by the Pizza Factory, as well

In Laconia - A. Little Confection and Sundial Shop, both on Main Street

In the Weirs - the Kellerhaus

I am not used to the Meredith end of the lake, as I confess to be a Gilford girl, but am I correct that after Hart's as you go down the hill, the Christmas store is next then as the road goes to turn right, the Mill Falls is on the left? A craft fair might be a nice thing to add to the day.

The caramel corn from Sugar n' Spice next to Kevin's Cafe at the pier is wonderfully tasty!!! :liplick: Can't wait to go back for more.

 Plan on a trip to Kevin's Cafe at the Pier for the best crab cakes ever and then bring home the caramel corn.
