We had the most wonderful easter brunch @ Michael's in the weirs. The food was fantastic, Roast lamb , ham & roast beef. Peel & eat shrimp, eggs cooked to order and all the breakfast choices you could want. They even had Italian food , fresh fruit and wonderful desserts! The best part was the price just$14 for adults And $7 for the children! Every place else we called was double for the children and $5 more for adults! They do this every sunday and I can't understand why the line isn't out the door ! Great value for the quality, a hidden jewel!

We had planned to go today minus the "RattleKids" but the heavy north west wind has made a return trip rather unattractive. I have countered with some nice camp cooking which seems to have made RG very happy. We will have to go to Michaels another weekend.

Thanks for the new nickname for the kids (19 and 21) they will be thrilled.

I have to say I was not that impressed with Michael's Brunch yesterday.

The food was ok for the price at $14.00 per adult and $7.00 per children, but he had a hard time keeping the food stations full.

Half the items were empty the entire time we were there.

I wish we had waited the hour for the brunch at Lago.

Oh well, my 2 cents....

Same exact experience here, we had brought some friends with us and all were disappointed. Will not return.

I thought the food was really good - while it was there. Unfortunately, you're right - the kitchen couldn't keep up with the customers. It wasn't tremendously busy, but they still had a hard time. Now that I'm thinking back - we had to wait for PLATES. And, then we had limited choices as they had run out of many items (bacon, potatoes, eggs, etc).

Although I'm glad that we tried it, I'm not sure we'll return.

Hello and thank you everyone for your comments both good and critical. I have just found this forum recently and think it is great that you all take your time to post your thoughts here. We at Michael's take pride in doing our best to put out a great product. For those of you who were disappointed on mother's day , I wish you had expressed those feelings to us so we could have taken care of you right then. Sometimes when people are seated in the dining room they cannot see how full the lounge upstairs is and don't think that is that busy, however we served 5 times the people we had reservations for! Hopefully in the future on holiday seatings we will have more people make reservations then we can be better prepared. I hope those of you who were disappointed will come back and let me take care of you personally as I don't want anyone to leave our restaurant unhappy. I can assure you we will strive to serve you better. This is our first year still and we are still experiencing some growing pains. Thank you all for your support and constructive comments.

Michael
