Show will begin on the Dock at the Wolfeboro INN at 0530....for you early risers. Apparently they will be brodacsting from aboard the 'Bell. Live broadcast will begin at 0700. I believe there will be room on the boat, not positive on this, but that early on a Saturday morning I'm sure most will be sleeping in. So try to turnout and make Wolfeboro proud.:D Always good to see our State on TV and especially our Lakes Region and businesses.

At the Speedway, snowmobile grass races. boat, dirt bikes, cross country, downhill skiing (a little early for that)?? Lots of races going on. I don't think 50 days will be long enough to cover it all.

Good Morning America.
 I thought it was Speedway-related.

"GMA" is looking for a crowd at the Wolfeboro docks and have requested that you be there early for the TV cameras—Saturday morning—like 5:30AM! :rolleye1:

"...for a piece they are doing about race in America...Can't wait to hear what people opinons are about that in NH..."
Wish I could step on GMA's expectations, but I can't get anybody up at 5:30AM on a Saturday!

Just in case anyone had planned to go, don't! They have cancelled. They said that because of the vote happening now, they wanted to cover it and didn't feel it was right to be celebrating in a boat on Lake Winni.

GMA decided to postpone their Wolfeboro segment because of the economy. The headline of the story is, Wolfeboro story too much fun.

WOLFEBORO - ABC's "Good Morning America'' has cancelled a segment scheduled to be broadcast from the public dock here this morning.

Mary DeVries, executive director of the Wolfeboro Area Chamber of Commerce, said an ABC official told her that the decision to cancel was based on ABC's concern that with the nationwide economic crisis broadcasting live from a boat would appear to be too festive.

DeVries said she was told ABC would try to reschedule the broadcast.

Maybe it's just me but this sounds more like the liberal networks not wanting to show a positive view this close to the election.Something stinks here.
