Does anyone know offhand if there is anywhere near Weirs Beach to access the internet? I am taking an online class and the last week of class is the week I will be at Weirs Beach. I just need a place to go to for a few hours to finish up the online work and take my last test. Thanks.

Maybe you could check the public libraries near there -- most have internet accessible computers. Sometimes you may have to pay a small fee, or "buy" a non-resident card to get the privilege of using the computer, but it's worth a shot......................let us know how you make out, and good luck in your class!

I stayed at the Cozy Inn and Cabins and they ended up having a computer that the guests could use so I used that mostly. I did go to the Meredith library one day and used a computer there. There were a lot of teenagers on the computers and the librarian had to tell someone they had to leave the computer so I could use it. You are allowed 1/2 hour, but if no one is waiting you can use it longer. Thanks for all the input.

The Gilman Library in Alton also has computers that anyone can use. Thirty minutes limit and kids cannot play games on them AND they can only use the computers where the librarians have a view of the screen.
Guess they have a problem with kids on the machines.
I read my e-mail a couple of times while I was in NH and the speed of the computers at the Gilman Library is so much faster than my FIOS!
