Around 8:20 tonight the Anchor Marine CAM (http://www.anchormarine.net/cam) got lucky and captured this lightning bolt:

Wow...getting the lighting at the right moment like that seems almost impossible. What a lucky shot!

I love storms, but the storm around 6:30 was flat out scary. There were 5 lightning strikes over about a minute that were WAY too close for comfort. You know they are close when there is practically no delay from the flash to the crash of thunder. My ears are still ringing. It's amazing how loud thunder can be.

What an amazing shot. I've often gone to the webcams at the lake to see if it's caught any lightning but have never seen any. Is this the first shot of Lightning the cameras have caught?
