Bug Season

Some talk about NH as only having three seasons. Mud season, bug season and winter. Bug season has officially begun. All sorts of critters flying around that weren't here last week. No welts yet to report, but sitting out on the boat, watching the sun set is going to get a bit more difficult, real soon now.

I played a round of golf this morning into the early afternoon, and saw only a few black flies. Wife said she could get out of work early, and wanted to play, so we went back out a little after four, and there many black flies, and obviously they either didn't like us and wanted to get a piece of us, or thought we were one tasty duo, and wanted to get a piece of us, or perhaps they just wanted to get a piece of us ! :laugh:

I did some yard work last night, and only had to deal with a couple black flies.

The black flies were out in force this past weekend. Deep Woods Off was my eau de toilet. ;)
