RG,
I looked at all the links and I don't see anything new. Only thing I saw was a link to Re-Max???

Has there been recent activity up there?

The Weirs family was up there the beginning of October, and the new owners were doing some work to the properties various buildings, but how much isn't obvious. They weren't terribly interested in us looking around, but I'd bet they are also pretty sick of people stopping by.
I wish them luck, its a big project.

Have they taken down trees recently? The castle seems more visible from the lake now. Click here for photo. (http://www.winnipesaukee.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=10468&limit=recent)

I didn't get close enough to notice any stumps RG, but based on the growth on Locke's Hill its something that I would have done if need be. The view did seem a bit overgrown. Thats a great photo by the way.

Unfortunately the owners are trying to sell off chunks of the property at a substantial price. Not much has been done to any of the buildings ..And the supposedly friendly caretakers of this landmark are anything but friendly..:(
