I have a lot in Center Harbor that was logged a few years ago and the logger left all of the dead and partially decayed logs and limbs....probably a couple of dump truck loads.Since the wood has no value I'll need someone who can dispose of it.Probably a truck with a grapple.Anyone know who does that kind of work?

Does the wood still have any firewood value or has it decayed past that point?

You might also be able to get a tree service to come in with a giant chipper and turn the whole mess into mulch. Then they could either haul it away or you could put a tarp over it and offer it up for sale.

Many tree services also have logging trucks that they could bring in for you, if the logs are still sturdy enough to be lifted by a grapple without breaking in half.

Most of it is just plain junk....knotted and rotted....no value at all.

Hi SAmiam,
I have just the machine you are looking for. A skid steer with a grapple for doing just this kind of work. Also I have a place to dispose of it. I am located on rte 3 in Center Harbor and also have the trucks to haul this type stuff. If you are interested just let me know.
