Hi, I just bought a house in Moultonborough and am looking to renovate the unfinished space above the garage to turn it into an office as well as have some other misc. smaller projects done around the house (built-in bookshelves, flooring/painting, etc.)

I'm getting estimates from 3 companies, but being brand new to the area, I was wondering if anyone here might have any knowledge or experience with any of these contractors that you could share:

- John Tolman
- Flanders Enterprises
- Interlakes Builder

Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Also, any tips on what I should be able to expect in terms of written contracts/plans/warranties would be quite helpful as well.

Thanks!
Abby

Hi Abby,
I would definately go with Interlakes, they are a 3rd or 4th generation
company and are awsome.
as a matter of fact they built my house in the 60's and its solid as a
rock. tell Mike that Carla sent you
good luck

Just checking if you found your contractor to help with your projects or rennovaitons? I can recommend a local owner/contractor in Moultonboro to help with all size projects as you mentioned: Call Lake Winnipesuakee Island Management at 603-253-7091. You can actually save money in the off season in the Lakes Region with interior projects as compared to peak season in the summer with such a demand for so few months of outdoor working weather.
