We have been told that we now need to have a concrete slab under our Kerosene tank before they will deliver to us again. Does anyone know the specifications? We are hoping to do this when we open camp next week.

I am going to need a slab installed on a slope. Did you purchase a prebuilt slab or pour it yourself? Could you share any more info including costs?

Thanks

It was 6' x 3.5' All in all it was:
4 pieces of wood for the frame $15
21 bags of quick crete (sp?) $100
about 3 hours to do it.

I have pictures if you want me to send them to you.

I would like to see the pictures of what you did. Did anyone have to inspect your slab? What company installed the tank?

Thanks

Nobody inspected the slab. We had received word from Wolfeboro Oil that they wouldn't deliver any more Kero until the tank was on a slab (It used to be on cinder blocks). We dug around the cinder blocks 6" deep, and poured the conrete around them and over them. If we have to replace this tank, we are going to have to cut the legs off. After we installed the slab, we called and ordered Kero, they came out, devlivered the Kero, and left. No problems. I will post pictures later.
