Has anyone seen the 'mini-mount' this year? Its strange to not see it berthed in Wolfeboro, or out cruising the lake. I heard someone indicate that it was never launced this year due to its poor state of repair?!?!? In any case, I miss it.

I saw it on the lift at Irwin Marine in Lakeport last weekend. Someone was painting the bottom. Looked cool sitting out of the water.

It was in the water running last weekend... WHAT A SIGHT!

I had the opportunity to visit the Mini-Mount while it was at Irwins... a very impressively sized machine when in drydock...

The mini is a great boat. To the best of my knowledge, it is 1/5 scale to the actual Mount; it is privately owned; built by the owner(s); does not offer public rides, although it is registered/licensed to carry people (as a private boat). I'm sure that there have been others posts on this site describing the mini, but I can't (I'm too dumb) direct you to them. Maybe someone with archive skills could post some previous postings.

The photos are neat with all the Barbie Doll "tourists. Look for July 8th photoposts. Thanks for posting them baja-mama.

...in Wolfeboro docked to the right of the public docks.

The Mini Mount seemed to get out late this year, but it is out. I saw it last weekend in it's slip. If you are waiting for a spot at the Wolfeboro town docks (another thread) check it out. It's birthplace/slip is next to the docks.

My understanding is that the builder is a retired pilot. It is recognized all over the lake. The state of NH recognizes it's registration as 002. The "big" Mount is 001.

He also has the Quacker Hotel out front. I always take people by to see it. If the builder is out, he always (and deservedly so) gets an applause.
