Today we were approaching the Glendale docks area from Rattlesnake and looked off in the distance towards Center Harbor and saw a snow-capped mountain. Was that Mt. Washington?

None of the other mountains had any signs of snow except for the man made stuff on the Gunstock ski trails.

I wasn't aware you could see Mt. Washington. If it wasn't Mt. Washington, what was it?

Also, while I'm at it, what's up with Paraphenalia no longer in Meredith? I thought they had a great business going there!

Parafunalia or however we spell it, moved into their Gilford location and closed the Merideth one. I would guess it could be a rent thing.

You can see Mt Washington from that area very easily, and a great view can be had from the scenic view on Rte 11 in Gilford overlooking the broads. When I went to Camp Lawrence on Bear Island, we knew it was going to be a great day if we could look out from the camp at reveille and see Mt Washington.

Kinda neat to see it from the boat, isn't it???:)

I am fortunate to see that spectacular view every day (conditions permitting). My office is in Gilford off the Rt 11 by-pass.

I hope we don't end up with a business view tax.

JohnNH,

If they do put a view tax on this it would be a hoot. The Director of the NHMP Has the same view from his office!

I think so too.

Just to be clear, I did not take it. I just like it. I don't want to take any credit away from the photographer.
