View Full Version : Rails and trails
did anyone catch this news article in the Citizen? It sounds as if there will eventually be a trail to hike, bike, cross country ski from Belmont to Meridith. Very interesting article. Hope the link works.

The plan is to have water shuttles connecting bikers and hikers from Meredith to Wolfeboro. A link r.e. the Wolfeboro Trail (The Cotton Valley Trail) is found below...

Of note to those interested in these paths is Warrant Article 15 to be voted on in Wolfeboro. This is the money for the Bridge Falls Path repairs. Decking timbers and support beams on the bridge are sadly in need of repair to prevent closure of the path due to the liability created by unsafe conditions.
