Weirs docks

Why do the swim bouys for the beach tie into the docks, instead of being corner anchored and angled back to shore? This has cut off any access to the inside tie-ups, severely limiting the total docking spaces :confused: . Surely the town doesn't want to promote swimming anywhere near the dock!

That's usually done for bike week, and set back to normal after.

They seem to do this every bike week. Back in the old days, during bike week boats would anchor and even beach boats in the area between the docks and beach. The MP or maybe the police didn't like this.

The swim lines at the Weirs are back to normal. The inshore dockage is now open.
