I believe this is maintained by Rattlesnake Gal, forgive me if I'm wrong, but it is one of the best community calendars I have seen.

Upcoming events for the next 7 days also appear at the bottom of the forum page.

Oops, I think I missed that one! Searching for colleges has been taking precedence lately. Thank goodness for the Internet.
With luck, his choice won't be too far from home and the lake.

Who was it in another thread that was looking for boat models? The Citizen article talks about 3 of them  but could use more pictures.

quote the Citizen article: The three lovely ladies will model once again for the LWC fashion show at the Gunstock Inn on Thursday, April 14, from 6-9 p.m. where they will be joined by other note-worthy local celebrities. Dominic Biello of WLNH will return to emcee the show.

I do not remember ever hearing of Dominic Biello around the lake. Who is this returning celebrity?

This is the first time I've heard his name. This must be him? WLNH (http://www.wlnh.com/crew_dom.htm)

Yep, that's him, Dominic Biello. You may not recognize his name but his voice should be familiar to radio listeners in the lakes region. Dominic has been on NH radio since the late 60's. I worked with him in Manchester at WFEA (late '60's early '70's). His name on-air then was, Hap Hazard. That was in an era when they thought DJs needed "unique" names. Like Penrod Rideout, Tom Foolery, Hap Hazard, Jeff Trueheart and such. The middle manager (boss) was known by the on-air name "Granny Goose". If you are interested in WFEA history click here: WFEA Remembered (http://www.manfrommars.com/wfea.html) Those who drive to/from the Lake via route 3 may recognize the unusual WFEA tower in Merrimack:

After WFEA Dominic moved across town to WKBR/WZID and used the name Chris Michaels. When I worked there (1974 era) Chris was on air 10 AM - 2 PM and I followed his program. Chris/Dom has been on-the-air in the Lakes Region for over 25 years - using the name Chris Michaels. He's been DJ, talk show host, newscaster and all around radio person. I remember that he did a regular morning show "live" from the Paugus Bay Dinner weekday mornings for a few years.

Last season (or was it 2 seasons ago) I noticed he used his "real" name on air and I thought he made a mistake. When I heard him say his name again I realized that he abandoned his pseudonym in favor of his real name. Dominic is a great guy and is indeed a long time local celebrity on WEMJ and WLNH. He too lives UpTheSaukee :)
