Bear Isle Indian Carry Access?

Any one know if the narrow strip on Bear known as "the carry" is passable with snow machines? Are there trails/pathways around Bear at all? Would like to travel out there but wish to avoid any hazards...

The carry on Bear Island is not passable by ski mobile, or cross country skis. It is a very rocky
area, and can be traveled by foot only, even then
it is difficult with a canoe in summer.
