Altons new super market

Has anyone heard what is happening with the new super market, pharmarcy and bank planned for Alton? I have heard that the planning board has giving it's final OK on it. Does anyone know how it stands now. I was told last fall they hoped to have it weather tight for this past winter so they could work on it and have a opening this summer. Guess that idea has gone by the boards or I heard wrong info.

I spoke with Kathy Menici, Town Planner, last month. The town has given its OK and the state has also given its OK. Once the snow is gone, the site work will commence and then the building process. Estimating this fall for the opening!!!!
